Words of wisdom for today

Freedom from religion or freedom of religion!

No where in the bill of rights is the term “separation of church and state” used. In fact this modern idea of a complete and total separation of religion from the public life was unheard of until 1963, that is when the Supreme court created its own amendment to the constitution by adopting Thomas Jefferson’s words “separation of church and state”. What the constitution does guarantee is freedom to choose your own religion and with that no religion has the monetary support of the federal government. There is freedom of religion in the United States of America, but this is not the same as freedom from religion. Atheism is a religion and does have a god, man himself has become god by the thinking of atheistic humanism, why should I be inflicted by their thinking. Everyone needs to have a second look at the first amendment instead of just bleeping like a sheep:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
