Words of wisdom for today

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. (First Amendment, U.S. Constitution)

I do believe that the first amendment as of this time is still in the Constitution? Therefore, I am exercising my right to object to the political direction that our great nation is following now. Passive resistance has long been the hall mark of being an American and hopefully it will continue to be. Problem is I doubt that the present idiot in the WH feels the same, in fact I think he wants us all to follow like a blind heard of sheep. I for one am not going to follow and am going to be very vocal about it. My first grievance is how he took the nomination and used tactics reminiscent of the Nazi’s. I pray that he fails in everything he tries to do and for what it is worth that America falls even deeper into the mess we have created for ourselves and I ask God in heaven to judge America starting with Obama.

  2. What a loving, kind Christian you are.

    • Obama is an enemy of the cross of Christ and since he is he does not get a blessing from me instead a prayer that God will bring his plans to naught. This has absoloutely nothing to do with be a loving, kind Christian, but it does have to do with being a soldier of the cross of Christ and loyalty to the scriptures. My citizenship is not found in the world of the obamas, but in heaven where I am looking forward to the return of Christ.

  3. Many “christians” are trying to say that resisting Obama is a violation of Romans 13:1-4:

If you look at Verse 2: Whoseover therefore resists the power, resists the ordinance of God, and they who resist shall receive to themselves damnation!

Now does that passage mean we are we not to resist it when the government wants to teach your children that Homosexuality is alright, and we will be damned if we do?

Does it mean we are not to resist if the government bans your ability to worship God, and we will be damned if we do?

No it does not! What Paul is referring to is that we are to honor the government placed over us as long as that government does not ask us to violate our alliegance to God!

But when our alliegance to God comes into conflict with obeying the laws of the land, we keep our alliegance to God!

Commentary on Romans 13:2: The Law of the Land is always to be obeyed, providing it does not offend our conscience or the Word of God! the “damnation” mentioned here does not necessarily refer to such coming from God, but rather from men!

Many people think they are going to be publically recognized as Martyrs when it comes time to stand on their faith and resist their governments who want to force them to deny their faith, but they will not. To the World which includes the apostate Church, those who stand on their faith will be labeled haters, malcontents. lawbreakers, Child Molesters etc.

There will be NO recognition from man for being matryred, the recognition will come from God when we leave this life! That is why it will be a hard lonely path to accept! and most will deny Christ before being publically labeled as such!
